ANIMAL WELFARE LEAGUE Pet of the Week
All the cats and dogs that are available for adoption from the AWL have been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked and are ready to go.
Adoption costs start from $25.
The pets may be at one of three AWL locations - Wingfield, Port Adelaide or Edinburgh North
Adoption opening times: 7 days a week, 10am - 3pm

NAIRNE OPENS ITS HISTORIC MAIN STREET FOR HISTORY
Visit historic Main Street of Nairne during the 2018 History Festival, (Saturday April 28 to Sunday May 27)
Every weekend during the Festival, the Nairne Museum will be open from 10.30am to 3.30pm.
During the opening weekend of April 28th and 29th, many historic buildings will be accessible as part of “Open Doors”.
Take a self-guided walking tour, using the Nairne Mural and Historic Walk brochure available at the Museum and local businesses.
Visit local shops, cafes and restaurants of the Main Street will be open for refreshments and browsing.

LITTLEHAMPTON COMMUNITY ASSN
Mt Barker Council has declared the Glebe a park for residents of the district to enjoy.
It has a handful of mature gums however, with the support of Mount Barker District Council, the local community is ready to commence revegetating the park.
Littlehampton Community Association is planning a community tree planting day in May.
Members of the community can register their interest in planting their “own” family tree or trees on the Glebe. By emailing email@example.com
Council and the LCA will provide the tree, dig the hole and supply a staked tree guard –all you need do is turn up on the Glebe, choose your tree, plant it and give it a drink.

Sailing for people with a disability.
The Goolwa Regatta Yacht Club Sailability Program enables people with a disability to enjoy sailing as a sport. It provides a challenge to venture into and succeed in a world previously dominated by able bodied people.
Learn to dual control 303 access boats. Skilled instructors to show the way.
Please come along and try sailing. New members made welcome at Saturday sailing days.
