RAA Street Smart Primary
Young children are especially vulnerable on our roads so we need to equip them with road skills and traffic knowledge.

RAA Street Smart Primary is a school program that features a road safety presentation and interactive activities to educate children about pedestrian, passenger and cycling safety.

It is free to school students from Reception to Year 7 and is tailored to particular age groups.

Information is also provided to parents to reinforce the safety learning at home.

The program was launched this month at St Catherine’s School in Stirling and will be available to all SA schools in 2019.

Teachers interested in 2019 bookings can visit raa.com.au or phone the Street Smart Primary team on 8202 8214.

This waterwise garden has been significantly modified in recent years to fine tune its Mediterranean character.

Salvias, succulents, grasses, shrubs, a curving gabion wall, rustic iron sculptures, a fire pit and raised vegetable gardens are among the items of interest.

Seldom watered, this garden demonstrates the value of climate compatible plant selection.
