WHAT'S ON AT THE AWL?
AWL Pet Boarding Services: Add extra fun to your pet’s next holiday, with new services available at AWL Pet Boarding! With a whole range of Spa, Enrichment and Service extras your pet could enjoy the ‘Cat Nip Experience’, ‘Splish Splash Playtime’, ‘Extra Cuddles’, and more! Call or go online today!
AWL Wingfield Redevelopment: The Animal Welfare League (AWL) is excited to announce the redevelopment of its Wingfield Shelter into an Australian leading, purpose-built Animal Care Centre. Built in 1975, the current shelter and vet clinic are now sub-standard and not-fit-for-purpose. After years of generous major donations and support, the AWL is excited to embark upon this redevelopment and expect to see the new Animal Care Centre unveiled by July 2020.
THE AWL IS GOING GREEN! - The AWL team are doing what we can for our environment by implementing and embracing greener alternatives.
With just a few simple steps and making some all-round changes, the AWL has been able to make the Wingfield and Edinburgh North Shelters cleaner, greener and more environmentally friendly places.
THE AWL NEED YOU SUPPORT!
Winter is here and the AWL is appealing to the community to help support the thousands of animals without homes or families to love them throughout these cold months.

ANIMAL WELFARE LEAGUE Pet of the Week
All the cats and dogs that are available for adoption from the AWL have been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked and are ready to go. Adoption costs start from $25.
The pets may be at one of three AWL locations - Wingfield, Port Adelaide or Edinburgh North
Adoption opening times: 7 days a week, 10am - 3pm
Dog of the week is Wombo:
I'm a mature guy who loves life. I enjoy walks - but don't know my own strength, so could be a bit overbearing for young kids. I'm 5 years old, searching for a home to take me in an show me love, kindness and devotion. Could that be you? I just can't wait to find a home and owner who'll share their hart with me.
Cat of the week is Nessie:
Sweet, soft and enchanting - the kind of girl who will captivate your attention and demand your affection. Give me pats and I'll melt in your hands - I'll smooch, roll and crawl my way toward you. Friendly - could happily live with other pets - but prefer home without children.
For more information about a particular cat, rabbit or dog go to the AWL website at www.awlsa.com.au or phone 8348 1300.
